What is Altcopy? The Leaderboard vs the Vaults

Altcopy is two things — and it helps to know which is which:

  • The Leaderboard — a free, curated ranking of native Hyperliquid vaults, to help you find good ones. It's research: you browse and compare, then deposit on Hyperliquid itself. You don't deposit "into the leaderboard."
  • The Altcopy Vaults — our own vaults (Flagship and Index) on Hyperliquid's EVM chain. These are products you deposit USDC into here, and you receive a vault share.

How they relate: our Index vault is a fund-of-funds that allocates across good native vaults — the same kind the Leaderboard surfaces. So the Leaderboard is the research layer; the Vaults are where you put money to work with us.

The Vaults are currently in a private, track-record phase (our own capital) — not yet open to third-party deposits.
