Is the live leaderboard free or paid?

The board comes in tiers, and the live version is a paid product:

  • Live board + change alerts — paid. The real-time ranking and the same-day "a vault just joined/left the Index" emails.
  • Members (free) — a delayed board + the weekly digest. Subscribe for free and you see the board on a short delay, plus the weekly recap.
  • Public — the board on a longer delay. Anyone can view it; the data is held back enough to judge the methodology without getting the live edge for free.

Why the gap? A fresh ranking is the edge — if it were instant and free, anyone could copy the picks the moment they move. Freshness is what the live tier pays for. (See "How fresh is the data?" under how to for the exact delays.)
