Flag chips: leader-at-floor, negative carry, paper-heavy, funded illusion

Share

Small chips under a vault flag live risk signals — they don't change the score, they inform:

  • Leader at 5% floor — the leader keeps only the 5% Hyperliquid minimum: the legal floor, not conviction, and one step from being able to close the vault. (Excluded from the Index for this reason.)
  • Negative funding carry — right now the vault pays net funding to hold its open positions, a recurring drag on returns. Funding moves hourly, so it's a live snapshot, not a verdict.
  • Paper-heavy — a large share of the vault's value is unrealized profit on open positions that can evaporate before they're booked; a new depositor buys in at that inflated mark.
  • Funded illusion — paper-heavy and most of that unrealized gain was manufactured by paying funding: the vault is renting an open position to show a largely illusory number. The funding cost is real and spent; the price gain is paper and can revert.

The "Hide risk-flagged vaults" filter drops any vault carrying one of these.
