What is HyperCore?

HyperCore is the heart of Hyperliquid: a purpose-built, on-chain engine for trading — the order book for perpetuals and spot, the native vaults, and staking. It's extremely fast because it's specialized for trading, not a general-purpose smart-contract chain.

Your Hyperliquid account — your perps and spot balances — lives on HyperCore. You interact with it through the Hyperliquid app or API, not by pointing a normal wallet's RPC at it. It's usually funded by bridging USDC in from Arbitrum (Hyperliquid's main on-ramp).
